Piercings

Safety

At Resurrection Ink we use only the highest quality equipment available for piercings. We work with you to ensure you’re educated on proper aftercare procedures so that you’ll have the easiest time possible while caring for your new piercing. Our piercers have over 19 years of combined experience in the piercing industry and our head piercer Ashton is a multi-award winning piercer. You couldn’t be in better hands.

Jewelry

The type of jewelry we use for each piercing is recommended to us by doctors. The medical field was the best place for us to seek advice when we started performing piercing procedures. We use implant-grade surgical steel for all the piercings we offer, which gives you the least chance of infection, rejection, or problems in healing.

Availability

We only do piercings as walk-ins! Swing by any day, any time at your convenience. We always have a piercer on staff to assist.

*We cut piercing services off 15 minutes before closing every day*

Piercing Deals

Desiree's Piercing Deals are pictured below! These deals will be offered every Thursday, so swing by between 1-8:45pm as a walk-in. These will repeat until further notice. Definitely take advantage of this while it lasts! We hardly ever offer piercing deals.

Dez will be off 4/3 & 4/24 so no deals will be offered those days.

Minors

To do a piercing on a minor, we need the parent's ID, the birth certificate for the child, and a state ID for the child. Information across all three documents should match.

If you are an adoptive parent or a legal guardian, we also need the adoption papers or the guardianship papers.

There are no exceptions to the required documentation, as it is required by law. (located on page 22 of "Rules and Regulations - Body Art - Chapter 511-3-8" under "Client Files")

The parent needs to accompany the child both to the shop and in the piercing room. We also do not allow any other children in the shop, other than those being pierced.

How Long to Wait Before Changing your Jewelry

You need to give your piercing time to heal before changing the jewelry. The jewelry used for fresh piercings is meant to accommodate different things that can happen during the healing process.

Please note that the timeframes below only reflect when it is okay to change jewelry, the piercing will not be fully healed at that time.

Piercing Type Jewelry Can Be Changed At:
VCH, Septum & Lobes 6 - 8 weeks
Oral 2 - 3 weeks
Surface Piercings 3 months
Industrial 4 - 6 months
Everything Else 3 - 4 months

If the jewelry you want to put in your piercing is heavy, dangly, or super decorative: give your piercing extra time to heal.
